Bio
Isabel Barnola received a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Florida State University in 2020 and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University in 2023. Currently, she is working on a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University with expected finish date in 2025. Isabel joined the Center for Advanced Power Systems at Florida State University in 2018 as an undergraduate research assistant. Since 2023, she is an Assistant in Research in the Power Systems group under Dr. Karl Schoder.
Isabel's research interest is in controller hardware-in-the-loop, real-time simulation, fault containment, FPGA-based communication and control implementation. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
